PavePacket Privacy Policy
This policy explains how PavePacket collects, uses, shares, and protects information for contractor workflows, public proposal acceptance, AI packet ingestion, and accounting integrations.
Information we collect
We collect account and organization information, contact details, job information, estimate and proposal records, invoice status, and support activity needed to operate PavePacket.
When packet ingestion is enabled, we may collect uploaded bid packet files, including PDFs, DXF files, related metadata, extracted facts, review decisions, and command history.
We also collect technical information such as device, browser, log, security, and diagnostic data to keep the service reliable and secure.
How we use information
We use information to provide the contractor workflow: lead capture, job setup, aerial measurement, estimate generation, proposal delivery, acceptance records, invoice creation, and accounting sync.
We use uploaded packet content to parse files, extract candidate facts, prepare review cards, and support operator-approved drafts. AI output is advisory and does not create business records without user approval.
We use operational data for security, support, troubleshooting, auditability, product improvement, and compliance with applicable obligations.
Service providers and integrations
PavePacket may use trusted service providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, email delivery, maps, file storage, error monitoring, AI extraction, and accounting integrations.
Current or planned providers include Vercel, Neon, Clerk, Resend, Mapbox, Sentry, OpenAI, and Intuit QuickBooks Online. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to PavePacket.
Customer and proposal data
Contractors are responsible for the customer, job, estimate, proposal, invoice, and acceptance information they enter or approve in PavePacket.
Public proposal links are intended for the specific customer or contact receiving the proposal. Proposal access and acceptance records may include timestamps, user agent, IP address, signature name, and token-scoped audit details.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, preserve audit records, resolve disputes, support integrations, comply with legal obligations, or as otherwise requested by an authorized account owner.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect account access and avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information.
Choices and contact
Authorized users may request access, correction, export, or deletion assistance by contacting PavePacket. Some records may need to be retained for audit, security, accounting, or legal reasons.
